About Us

Support is about people, not just services.

Choosing an NDIS provider is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. You want more than someone who simply turns up.

You want people who genuinely care, communicate openly and support you in a way that feels personal, respectful and empowering.

That’s exactly why Alongside Support exists.

We provide one-on-one support for people of all ages, at home and out in the community.

Our name reflects the way we work.

We believe in recognising strengths, building confidence and walking alongside every participant as they work towards living the life they choose.

The best support isn’t about doing everything for someone. It’s about helping them discover what they’re capable of.

Our Services

Personalised support that grows with you.

No two people are the same, and neither are their goals. Every service we provide is tailored to your needs, preferences and aspirations, with one focus: helping you live as independently and confidently as possible.

In-Home Support

Support at home should help you feel more capable, not more dependent.

We work alongside you to make everyday life easier while encouraging independence, taking time to understand your routines and goals so support feels natural, respectful and genuinely helpful.

Support may include
  • Personal care
  • Daily living assistance
  • Meal preparation
  • Household tasks
  • Building everyday routines
  • Developing life skills
  • Encouraging independence around the home

Community Participation

Life doesn’t stop at home, and neither should your opportunities.

We support participants to get involved in their community, build meaningful relationships and take part in the activities that matter to them, encouraging confidence every step of the way.

Support may include
  • Community access
  • Social outings
  • Shopping and errands
  • Medical appointments
  • Recreational activities
  • Building social connections
  • Developing confidence in everyday situations

Goal-Focused Support

Every participant has different goals.

For some it’s becoming more independent. For others it’s learning new skills, growing confidence or trying something new.

We tailor support to help you work towards those goals at your own pace. Because your support should be centred around your life, not ours.

Individualised Support

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to quality support.

Everyone has their own strengths, challenges and aspirations, so every support plan is designed around the individual.

We’ll work with you, your family and your support network so your support evolves as your needs and goals change.

Supporting a wide range of needs

We proudly support children, adults and older Australians living with a diverse range of needs.

Our Approach

We believe great support empowers people.

At Alongside Support, we recognise what people can do before focusing on where they need help. We encourage independence, celebrate progress and build confidence in everyday life.

Everything we do is guided by empathy, patience and genuine care. That means:

Two people sharing coffee, deep in conversation
Taking the time to listen.
A young man in a wheelchair, laughing and relaxed
Being curious.
A coach talking with a participant at the gym
Communicating openly.
A support worker and participant laughing together at a sports centre
Creating a welcoming environment where people feel safe to be themselves.

Because real support isn’t measured by how much we do for someone. It’s measured by how confident they feel because we’re beside them.
